Yesterday, Abi, Bethany and I went walking after work, and then drove a few blocks to indulge in a favorite spring treat in Abilene: Cajun Cones. (These are a serious spring institution in Abilene, people. There’s even a Facebook group called “It’s Not Really Spring Until Cajun Cones Opens.”)
That’s me with a little raspberry, Abi with a mango-margarita tongue, and Bethany showing off her tiger’s blood with cream.
YUM. Happy spring to you.
that looks like a blast! happy Spring!
So fun! I’m with Bethany… tiger’s blood is the best!
Yes, please! I can pretend to be Cajun for a nice snowcone right about now.
YES! I know you’re all calling this a spring thing… which is fine. I think I was under the false impression that summer started in April. (Thank you, Armenia, for clearing that up.) However, if I were in Abilene right now I would SO walk to cajun cones and have Tiger’s blood which has always been my First Snow Cone of Summer. I’m so glad you shared. I can literally taste it right now… Looks like I’m just going to have to walk next door and get some fresh-from-the-cow churned ice cream… strawberry flavor…
