1. Fresh veggies from our CSA box.
2. Raspberries – always my favorite fruit, and especially now.
3. The way my laundry air-dries faster when it’s warm in the back room.
4. The feel of ceiling fans on my face.
5. Linen skirts and trousers.
6. Fresh herbs, particularly basil.
7. Lemonade.
8. Iced tea (I need to make sun tea this week).
9. Tomatoes.
10. Summer movies. (We’ve seen Robin Hood and I’m dying to see Toy Story 3 and Eat, Pray, Love.)
11. Summer haircuts.
12. Weddings – we’re in the middle of a LOT of ’em.
13. Fruit cobblers, crumbles and crisps. (Blackberry, raspberry, blueberry, peach…)
14. Bare feet.
15. Painted toenails.
16. A little bit of tan.
17. Twirly skirts and bare legs.
18. Halter dresses.
19. Long evenings.
20. Sunny mornings.
21. Thunderstorms.
22. My geranium, which is blooming like it means it.
23. Country music, which to me always spells summer.
24. Road trips.
25. Good books.
26. Patches of shade on hot days.
27. Morning breezes before the heat of the day.

29. Semi-annual sales at the mall.
