I’ve been trying and trying to think of a clever way to say this, but I just can’t. So I’ll say it in a non-clever, straightforward way:
We are moving to Boston. In a MONTH.
Jeremiah has a new job, and the two of us have a BIG adventure ahead. We are thrilled and overwhelmed and freaked out and a little sad. And so, SO excited.
so so exciting for sure!
So exciting! Scary too, i’m sure, but exciting. And now you can embark on the friend search too… can’t wait to hear how it goes. (My inlaws are from Boston so maybe one day we can meet in the real world!)
I’ve been waiting for this post. I have so many questions! What kind of job? Do you have work lined up? Do you know anyone there? How did you get the connection? Have a place to live? Etc.!
I’m in the mood for an adventure, so hopefully if you keep me updated well enough I won’t have to actually embark on my own! ; )
OWWOWO!
Congrats.
Boy, life is crazy sometimes.
Best of luck with everything-and let me tell you-I feel for you.
I hope this is a fun adventure for you guys-if you ever need to vent about moving stuff-feel free-I am all ears π
But Boston is so rad-I hope it turns out to be a great thing for you guys.
Cheers!
Hooray! Glad for the official announcement.
How fitting that your word for this year is “brave.” I hope you love Boston and love creating your new life there.
Congratulations! I envy you – from what I hear, Boston is a very good place to live. I still yearn for a couple of years abroad, it seems. Looking forward to hearing your tales of moving and settling in …
Congratulations to both of you! I’m so thrilled Jeremiah found a job, too! Boston would be a blast of a place to live, I think. Can’t wait to hear of your adventures in Beantown. π
Oh my goodness, congratulations! Justin and I picked up and moved to Boston a couple of years ago (obviously, we came back to Austin). I loved the snow, the not having to own or drive a car, the neighborhoods and walking everywhere. I can’t wait to read about your adventures there!
I don’t think you should leave. Well–I think you should, just not until December when we leave! π
We’ll miss you a lot!
Yeaaa for the formal news. I am so, so excited for you both and I think it’s a fantastic choice. Woo hoo! Now, how to get up there to visit y’all. (you can’t stop saying “y’all” just ’cause you moved up to the Northeast – us DCers are just enough Southern to like some “y’all.”)
Love you
wow, that’s incredible! i know you’ll be sad to leave, but i think you’ll adore boston. AND… todd has family there! (in fact, the lil sis is there right now!) hopefully we can hook up during a visit! π
Boston is one of my favorite places on earth. ENJOY!!!
Ugh…. now who’s going to take me out to Sharky’s in a year. I suppose the two of you couldn’t have just waited for me for one little ol’ dinner. 99% joking. I hope/think/kind-of-know you will love boston! Congrats!!!!
This is amazing! You guys are going to have SO MUCH fun exploring the city! And I can’t wait to hear all about it. π
Whoa, AWESOME! I love Boston – it’s one of my favorite places, and my family all lives there (they’re real Southie types). Tom went to school in Boston. SO cool!
Also, you’re a short (and gorgeous) bus/train ride away from NYC, and you know what that means!
Congratulations! This is exciting news. I have some great friends I’d love to introduce you to out there – I’ll send you an email.
