Friday afternoon, contrary to the forecast, was bright blue and sunny – and I’d been working all morning (really, all week) on edits for a big freelance project. I was still nursing the end of a cold, but needed to get out of the house, big time.
So I threw on my down jacket, my green pashmina, my Hermione hat and my gloves, and headed down to Wollaston Beach, our little city beach, which is about a mile from our house. With a view of Boston, but also a view of water and sky. And room to breathe, and space to think. All of which were exactly what I needed.
Love the soothing pull of the beach – the endless waves appeal to me, also, and heal whatever is going on, or make even better a great day.
Great photo of you, the beach, and the horizon. Did you take that yourself?
It’s like a deep breath for me just reading this….
